Thanks to the USI Student Association for Ukraine, and with the support of various local sponsors and partners, a humanitarian aid truck set off from Ticino heading to Ukraine on 9 February 2023. The

Solidarity for Ukraine

The first Humanitarian aid collection for Ukraine, organised by Student Association for Ukraine, Agora and University Chaplaincy, was a success. About 700CHF was collected, and the USI Truck was filled with school supplies and hundreds of clothing items for children, teens and adults donated by the community.

Colletta umanitaria per l'Ucraina

The Humanitarian aid collection for Ukraine organized by the Student Association for Ukraine, Agorà and the university chaplaincy will be held under the canteen of the West Campus. The donations will go to the children hosted by the Casa Astano Association, to orphanages and boarding schools in the regions of Kharkiv and Kiev. Type of donations needed: Winter clothing for children Winter clothing for teenagers School supplies and stationery (backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, markers) Financial donations may also be made to help people in Ukraine's devastated areas procure products of first necessity. For the occasion, convivial moments will also be organized where it will be possible to get to know each other, have a hot drink and exchange greetings.​Flyer​

Giovedì 15 dicembre, dalle 11:00 alle 15:00 sotto la mensa del Campus Ovest, si terrà la raccolta benefica Humanitarian aid collection for Ukraine organizzata da Student Association for Ukraine, Agorà e Cappellania universitaria. Le donazioni saranno destinate ai bambini ospitati dall'Associazione Casa Astano, agli orfanotrofi e ai collegi scuole nelle regioni di Kharkiv e Kiev.

Associazione studentesca per aiutare gli studenti ucraini all'USI

Creare una rete fatta di studentesse e studenti provenienti dall'Ucraina al fine di promuovere la collaborazione all'interno della comunità studentesca, individuarne i bisogni, creare una rete di sostegno nel territorio, ed agire per la comunità ucraina in Svizzera ed in patria. È quanto si prefigge l'iniziativa lanciata da Alina e Vincenzo, due studenti dell'USI.
